One ink, printed directly onto the corrugated surface — usually your logo, product name and handling marks. A second ink buys a great deal of presence — a brand colour alongside black text, or a logo that finally looks like the one on your website. It is the middle ground most growing brands settle on: noticeably better shelf and doorstep impact than single colour, without moving to full offset cartons.
Full artwork across the carton — multi-colour graphics, product photography, panel-to-panel design, die-cut windows and handle cut-outs. This is the option for D2C brands whose box is part of the product experience, and for retail cartons that have to compete on a shelf rather than survive a warehouse.
